A small ten second sequence for a tv series based on Auldos Huxley’s ‘Brave New World’ was filmed on the driveway and was a lesson in ‘how to die’, when electrocuted. Many attempts were made by the unknown actor and it will be interesting to see which way he keels over in the movie. It never ceases to amaze me the lengths (and time and costs) that is spent on one small sequence – which can always end up on the cutting room floor. Not that they have the good old 16mm or 35mm celluloid to play around with anymore.
Anyway all being well the series will go out in the U.S. early next year.
