MARCONI SITE – THEN AND NOW
A sad wreck of a place and now a sleek property to rent. Complaints from some that it should have been left as it was – but as always, moaners who do not live here! Personally I preferred the the previous application which was more in keeping with the original wood type structure but so many complaints were sent to the local planners that proposals finally dismissed. Interesting to note one person who is a second home owner and does not live here canvassed and obtained some 38 signatures to object to the plans – and those who signed do not live here. She also complained about the new structure – but didn’t get her own way.
One of those typical NIMBYs!!!!
