Dungeness, for the time being will remain open to the public, following the latest ‘lockdown’ instructions from the government.
However, if, as last time, matters get out of hand and the hoards flood to Dungeness – then the the estate will be closed to the public.
EDF, owners of the estate, will be monitoring the situation daily before making any decision to close.
