Forgot to post before last night – but available on ‘Catch Up’ TV – Paul O’Grady, the fairly local, all round comic, ‘star’ of TV, radio and ‘Lilly Savage’ presented the second episode of his ‘Great British Escape’ series on ITV – visiting the Romney Marsh and Dungeness. He was introduced to leeches that are breeding in some of the still, freshwater lakes that abound in the area and a herd of Alpacas, with whom he practiced a little yoga. Dressing for the part he also managed a little ‘shrimping’ expedition, which is still carried out in the same traditional way it has been for generations. Worth a look!
